Hamburg aufgepasst: Am 1. September kommt der Basaltgrill aus der Rhön nach Hamburg für ein einzigartiges BBQ. Es gibt vier Gänge rund um die sensationellen Produkte vom Biohof May, außerdem Austern, Gemüse von Green Pauli und Äpfel aus dem alten Land. Alles gegrillt bei 350 Grad über Buchenholz und mit bestem Elbblick im ÜberQuell.

Furioses Finale mit der legendären Jacobs Torte von Konditormeisterin Ilona Lindenthal und ein bis zwei Old Fashioned am Kamin des @hotellouiscjacob Louis C. Jacob, beim Kaiserhappen-Betriebsausflug in Thomas Martins Restaurant Jacob. Aus *räusper* Termingründen fand die allererste Kaiserhappen-Weihnachtsfeier im Februar statt, das üben wir noch! Wir besuchten @thomasmartin.official, für den wir im vergangenen Jahr eine neue Homepage bauen und texten durften (schaut mal vorbei!). Das ganze Team in gastfreundlichster Hochform, wir genossen Thomas Martin-Klassiker wie Hummerschaumsuppe und die legendäre geschmorte Ochsenschulter - zwei Gänge die deutlich zeigten, von welcher Tiefe und süffigem Detailreichtum seine nur vermeintlich minimalistische Küche geprägt ist. Schon das Amuse, griechischer Joghurt mit Staudensellerie und Gurke, ein Genuss! Auf den Punkt auch die Käseauswahl mit sensationellem Rotkohl-Chutney oder das grandiose Sorbet von Äpfeln aus dem Alten Land mit Yuzu und Olivenöl. Natürlich haben wir auch das warmen Butterbrioche mit Imperial Auslese Caviar und Crème fraîche von unserem Kunden @imperialcaviar bestellt und auf unsere ersten Monate angestoßen. Weiter gehts, mit hochgekrämpelten Armen!

Yes, we`re open! Für unsere Kunden aus Gastronomie und Einzelhandel ist das Kaiserhappen Studio natürlich auch mal Sonntags geöffnet - inklusive Mittagstisch aus unserer Küche: cremige Käse-Polenta mit Comté, Bohnen-Paprika "Cassoulet" und gebratenen Kräuterseitlingen. Und beim Chocolatier-Workshop mit @leoniecorentinchocolatier haben wir echt viel gelernt! Supersonntag.
Es wächst und wird! Uns ist wichtig, dass das Kaiserhappen-Studio auch ein wohnlicher Arbeitsort ist. Wir haben neue Stühle und gestern kamen endlich auch die Akustik-Panele, die eine warme Atmosphäre schaffen - und es hallt nicht mehr, wenn ihr uns anruft! 🙂 Auf dem Tisch übrigens das Garlic-Butter Bread aus Stevan nächstem Kochbuch (in the making!) und der schnellste Dip der Welt aus nur drei Zutaten: Feta mit Frischkäse und Ajvar verrühren - und fertig. Wers ein bißchen posh mag, kann noch Tomatenwürfel und Dill in Olivenöl drüber dekorieren. Schönes Wochenende Euch!

It`s growing and becoming! It is important to us that the Kaiserhappen studio is also a cosy place to work, we have new chairs and yesterday the acoustic panels finally arrived, which create a warm atmosphere - and it no longer echoes when you call us! 🙂 On the table, by the way, the Garlic Butter Bread from Stevan`s next cookery book (in the making!) and the world`s fastest dip made from just three ingredients: Mix feta with cream cheese and ajvar - and you`re done. If you like it a bit posh, you can top it with diced tomatoes and dill in olive oil. Have a nice weekend!
