Léonie Corentin: Denise Snieguolė Wachter presents her cookbook "VILNIUS" and the culinary diversity of Lithuania.

On Thursday evening, the “Klub Maison” in Berlin was transformed into a hotspot for lovers of Lithuanian cuisine. Author and food journalist Denise Snieguolė Wachter presented her first cookbook “VILNIUS” and took guests on a culinary journey to the Lithuanian capital. The event was characterized by the author’s passion for Lithuanian cuisine and her personal connections to Vilnius.

Wachter, whose mother comes from Lithuania, skillfully combined personal anecdotes with fascinating knowledge about the culinary tradition and innovation in Vilnius in her presentation. The highlight of the evening was a variety of delicious dishes selected from the cookbook. The guests were impressed by the variety of flavors and the successful mix of traditional and modern interpretations of Lithuanian cuisine.
